Get familiar with the Process Automation Controller (PAC) which is a much different industrial automation and control device than the PLC. This hands-on automation training seminar-workshop uses Controllogix and CompactLogix processor software by Allen Bradley, called RSLogix 5000.
Please Click above respective graphic to see sample from that day.
This introductory level hands-on Process Automation Controller training starts with an overview of the Allen Bradley ControlLogix system architecture and an introduction of RSLogix 5000 software. Then the fundamentals of editing ladder logic and an introductory look at the Routines and the Tag Database are covered. Next students are introduced to program control instructions, comparison and math instructions, along with the importance of documenting an RSLogix 5000 project. Students will then move on to configuration of the PLC discrete and Analog Input/Output modules, and the advanced features available in the Tag Database.
After building this firm foundation in the Allen Bradley ControlLogix hardware and RSLogix 5000 software, students move on to ControlLogix troubleshooting where they learn about RSLogix 5000 tools that can be used in troubleshooting. Status indicators on ControlLogix I/O and communication modules are also covered.
Highlights of this ControlLogix training:
Prerequisite: We Strongly recommend that you participate in our 3 day PLC Troubleshooting seminar before you learn RSLogix 5000 (and PAC), to first get a clear understanding of Allen Bradley's legacy PLCs and working with PLCs safely and reliably while reducing downtime. Please see, Atlanta, GA, St. Louis, MO, & Denver, CO
If you do not first attend our 3 day PLC Troubleshooting class, you will still need to be familiar with PLC basics while having safe and reliable work habits as a prerequisite to this ControlLogix training. Although this training is at an introductory level, the process automation controller (PAC) is very different than the programmable logic controller (PLC). That is why we require a prerequisite. Cost: $1450 St. Louis Schedule: Feb 22-24, 2012 (5 seats left, Register before 12/31/2011) Also please see our On-Site Training
