<video:description>Demo of the electrical circuit diagram design software and circuit simulator — The Constructor 16. Download the free trial here: https://bin95.com/electrical-training-simulator/circuit-simulator-constructor.htm The Constructor electrical drawing software is an excellent training tool for teaching troubleshooting. You can draw ladder diagrams and electrical layouts much faster and easier than with most CAD software. The Constructor makes creating, testing, troubleshooting, teaching, and printing electrical circuit diagrams and schematics fast and easy. It includes interactive on‑screen help, a full manual, and examples. Over 800 wire‑drawing symbols are included (IC, NEMA, and IEC), and you can customize or create your own. Optional PLC I/O wiring diagram symbol libraries are available for most PLCs — over 1,800 I/O modules. The Constructor began on DOS over 23 years ago and is now at version 16 for Windows 10, 8, 7, and XP. You can see power flow, hear motors and alarms (126 sound effects), take notes, display notes, and print electrical circuit simulations and schematics. Automatically add wire numbers, print wire labels, and use templates for Brady and other label printers. Export electrical wiring diagrams to PDF, or optionally to DXF, DWG, JPG, GIF, TIF, or PNG. The latest feature adds electrical simulation scripting for hands‑free simulations. Used by Fortune 500 companies, schools, universities, electricians, contractors, and IBEW/JATC/UA/IEC training centers worldwide. Download the free 60‑day simulator trial. <video:title>Electrical Troubleshooting Simulator Update: Faster Skill Test Access (Free Version)</video:title>
<video:description>We just updated our free online Electrical Troubleshooting Simulator. While fixing a technical issue in Fault 4 of Skill Test Mode, we also added something many returning users have asked for. Because the app requires no sign‑in, returning visitors always had to repeat the first six onboarding exercises — even if they already knew how to use the simulator. That’s now fixed. In the very first system control‑panel note, you’ll see a new link that lets experienced users skip onboarding and jump straight into Skill Test Mode for weekly practice. We also improved several interface visuals and tightened up some functionality while we were in there. Check it out and enjoy smoother, faster practice sessions. https://bin95.com/industrial/electrical-troubleshooting.htm #ElectricalTroubleshooting #IndustrialMaintenance #SkilledTrades #TechnicalTraining #MaintenanceTech #ElectricalTraining #CTE #STEMCareers #IndustrialSkills</video:description>

<video:title>PLC Simulator App for PC: Logix 500 & 5000 Training</video:title>
<video:description>These two PLC simulators mimic RSLogix PLC software for both programmable controller types. IE: PLC 500 & PAC 5000 https://bin95.com/electrical-training-simulator/rslogix-5000-training-simulator.htm The PLC Simulator software displays interactive 3D simulations, ladder logic, controller organizer, I/O chassis, and a range of control panels. The ladder logic display is the same format as the RSLogix 500 or 5000, depending on the simulator version used. There are 14 simulated 3D worlds and 50 example programs using them. The remaining 200-plus example programs use the I/O rack simulator. Besides being the most detailed PLC simulator App for Logix software training, it also has the most simulated instructions for you to work with. IE: 65 instructions in the PLCLogix 500, 80 in the PLCLogix 5000 Another feature that sets this PLC simulator download apart from others is the ability to import and export PLC programs. Import LogixPro, RSLogix 500 and RSLogix 5000 programs! 14 3D-world simulations covering manufacturing, warehousing, infrastructure, building control, energy, and consumer applications, such as car washes. Additionally, over 200 free PLC program examples are available. As both are PLC simulators for PC, they never expire, and there are no subscription fees! The RSLogix 5000 simulator is an excellent tool for RSLogix 5000 training, as is the 500 simulator for RSLogix 500 training.</video:description>

<video:title>PLC Troubleshooting Tips: OTU, JSR, MCR Explained in RSLogix 500 & 5000</video:title>
<video:description>Having trouble with illogical PLC rungs in RSLogix? This video walks through three of the most common causes of confusing ladder logic behavior: OTU (Unlatch), JSR (Jump to Subroutine), and MCR (Master Control Reset). Each section includes real examples, cross‑reference navigation, and step‑by‑step troubleshooting patterns you can use immediately. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced technician, this video will help you quickly identify why a rung “looks true but refuses to energize,” and how to fix it. 00:00:31 – OTU (Unlatch) Troubleshooting Why a rung looks true, but the output stays false, and how to find hidden OTUs in other routines. 00:01:44 – JSR (Jump to Subroutine) Troubleshooting How missing JSR conditions prevent entire routines from scanning, and how to verify subroutine execution. 00:03:54 – MCR (Master Control Reset) Troubleshooting Understanding MCR zones, conditional vs. unconditional MCR rungs, and how they disable logic. 00:05:01 – Bonus Tips: Online Status & Forces Why offline mode and forced bits can make rungs appear frozen or illogical. Hi all, Don here. I created this video all because I was inspired by a question on Reddit. So I wrote this post below to help them; it took off- a lot of traction- but some needed a visual, so I created this video to expand on that conversation and the topic. ~ When you’re new to PLC troubleshooting, certain instructions can throw you off until you’ve seen them in action. For a lot of technicians (myself included), JSR and MCR were early stumbling blocks — especially when a rung looked “illogical.” Here’s a solid refresher. JSR vs. MCR — Why They Matter in Troubleshooting JSR (Jump to Subroutine) A JSR completely redirects program flow. If the routine isn’t being called, none of the logic inside it executes. It’s simple, clean, and great for modular design — but easy to overlook when troubleshooting. MCR (Master Control Reset) An MCR, on the other hand, executes the routine but forces all rungs false inside the MCR zone. Think of it as automatically…</video:description>

<video:title>What Is a Solenoid? Simple Explanation Using #motorcontrol Course Simulators</video:title>
<video:description>A solenoid is one of the simplest—and most misunderstood—components in electrical and motor control systems. In this short lesson, we walk through the basics using interactive simulations from the MCTrainer 5 Motor Controls Course software. You’ll see how a solenoid works, why the term can be confusing, and how the plunger‑type solenoid converts electromagnetic energy into mechanical motion. The video also shows the other common solenoid types used in industry: Clapper, Bell‑Crank, Vertical Action, and Horizontal Action. This screen recording shows a student working through the built‑in simulations. Every module in MCTrainer 5 starts with the fundamentals, making the course ideal for high school students, vocational programs, and cross‑training maintenance mechanics who need a solid foundation in motor controls. 🧲 Topics Covered • What a solenoid is and why the term varies by application • How electromagnetic force moves an armature • Why springs are used to offset the plunger • How solenoids are used in valves, switches, and actuators • Visual examples of plunger, clapper, bell‑crank, vertical‑action, and horizontal‑action solenoids 🔧 About the MCTrainer 5 Motor Controls Course MCTrainer 5 includes dozens of interactive simulations that teach motor control concepts step‑by‑step. Students learn by doing—ideal for classrooms, apprenticeships, and industrial training programs. <video:title>DeviceNet Cable Termination Basics – Drop Cable & Shielding Explained</video:title>
<video:description>This DeviceNet tutorial demonstrates proper drop‑cable termination and explains key safety practices such as avoiding ground loops by keeping the braided shield isolated from all DeviceNet conductors. The video also shows the color‑coded DeviceNet female bulk‑cable connector and highlights why constructing your own cables can be a cost‑effective and flexible option for network installations. This demo is only a small sample of our full DeviceNet Software Tutorial Training Course, which includes interactive configuration tools, real‑world video clips, and an integrated troubleshooting simulator—far more than a basic slide‑based course. <video:title>Electrical Safety Training video | OSHA HAZMAT - Hazwoper training Certificate Course</video:title>
<video:description>This Electrical Safety Training video course sample, is from the Electrical Safety in HAZMAT Environments certificate course at https://bin95.com/vocational-training/safety/workplace-safety-electrical-certificate.htm The above electrical safety course is not just a video course, it is additionally offered in many other formats incorporating the videos. (Like LMS, VOD, CD, DVD, some including over 300+ additional resources. IE: Free leader's guide, forms, test/answr, posters, booklets, etc.). All formats very competitively priced. The above very popular hazmat training exceeds OSHA standards and is used for electrician training, new hires, and especially in electrical safety awareness for non-electrical workers. See OSHA Standard: OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 with training requirements paraphrased below... [Where employee exposures approach permissible exposure limits or published exposure levels, or there is a potential for an emergency, then the training requirements under 29 CFR 1910.120 are applicable. The level of training provided must be consistent with the worker's job functions and responsibilities, the toxicity of the materials, the levels of exposure and the potential for an emergency to develop. The HAZWOPER standards along with other OSHA standards ensure this training.] An electrical explosion is one thing, an explosion caused by employees' lack of electrical safety hazards awareness is often much bigger!</video:description>

<video:description>Sustainability: The Plant Wellness Way (Maintenance and Reliability Management) https://bin95.com/ppt-powerpoints/reliability/reliability-and-maintenance-management.htm In Mike Sondalinni's Reliability and Maintenance Management training course, he introduces the "Plant Wellness Way" (PWW). You can learn more by downloading the 235 PowerPoint slides with instructor notes at the link above. Plant and Equipment Wellness is a more meaningful and more precise description of what is wanted for the future of business and commerce than is provided by the words 'physical asset management' or even 'operational excellence'. It reflects the intense focus on defect and loss prevention, which is the future of physical asset management and operational excellence, which this course also promotes. At the end of the video is a link to Mike's website for those wanting to learn more about his reliability consulting services or get his book. Below is the script from this #shorts video. "Mike Sondalinni developed the Plant Wellness Way, which significantly improves sustainability. This methodology creates an EAM system of reliability. Plant Wellness is not all that different from human wellness. Let's compare. Human wellness is developing and combining a person's physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual parts to create a sustainable, healthy, stimulating, and satisfying life. Plant and Equipment Wellness is the company version of that holistic approach. Similarly, Plant and Equipment Wellness is the process of developing and combining engineering assets (the physical factor), financial objectives (the mental factor), human resources (the emotional factor), and organizational culture (the spiritual factor) to produce sustainable, healthy, invigorating, and satisfying equipment and company performance." #Reliability #Maintenance #manufacturing #sustainability #industrialsolutions</video:description>

Suppose you are considering a position as a Maintenance Planner and are asking, 'What is maintenance planning?' In that case, this video should give you a good idea. "A Maintenance Planner needs a systematic approach to quickly compile the correct parts, tools, and information required to do the maintenance to high-quality standards. That necessitates the planner to develop specific information management systems to identify and coordinate large amounts of information quickly. Information includes engineering facts, equipment history, job procedures, work standards, time estimates, and cost estimates. The information management systems, like CMMS, ensure that the maintenance strategies are actually put in place..." (continued in video...) <video:description>This video is a #Christmas present to Joel Leonard ("The Maintenance Evangelist"), who wrote the lyrics to '12 Days of Maintenance' and this video to wish all Maintenance a Merry Christmas. We at https://BIN95.com know many maintenance workers must work on projects during the Christmas shutdown. We are thinking of and appreciate you. Joel Leonard ("The Maintenance Evangelist") has dedicated his life to promoting the maintenance profession and bringing to light the unsung heroes who maintain our infrastructures and industries behind the scenes with little notice or appreciation from the average Joe. Thank you Joel for all you do, and Merry Christmas! Lyrics: On the twelfth day of Maintenance, my boss-man sent to me Twelve machines broken , Eleven pipes a leaking, Ten motors busted, Nine compressors smoking, Eight power lines peaking, Seven cuss words spoken, Six more hours of overtime, Five old timers quit, Four new untrained workers, Three Crescent wrenches, Two minutes' notice, And no money in the budget!</video:description>

<video:description>This fun automation engineering video takes a humorous look at the age‑old PC vs PLC debate—and shows how the modern Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) has made that argument obsolete. PACs also blur the lines between PLCs and microcontrollers, making them essentially one and the same in many applications. (Though it definitely stirs up the PLC vs. DCS debate, which is really PAC/SCADA vs. DCS.) Factory IO simulation software allows users to build and test open production lines. The factory simulation software uses modular machines and equipment. It allows for different parts, colors, etc. Users can switch between products or production types. This lesson will use the WinSPS S7 Siemens PLC simulation software for automation control. We will take a look under the hood later in this video. Like in PLC programming and troubleshooting, we will first get familiar with the Open Production Line example's system and operation. This production line makes bases and lids using two machining centers. The automation control comprises a Siemens S7-300, a mainline control panel, and two machining center control panels. [Closed Production Line Operation] The operator presses the run button, the line switches to auto mode, and Cell 1 starts producing bases and Cell 2 lids. There are counters for each. The stop button removes the line from auto mode; no new raw material enters the cells. The cells finish their work in progress and then stop. Before we added automation to make this line an open production line, running a batch in one cell required the whole line to be shut down. Closed production lines are inflexible.…</video:description>

<video:title>PLC PID Tutorial – How PID Control Works (RSLogix 500 Example)</video:title>
<video:description>This video is the third part of the Closed Loop System series and introduces PID control using a PLC. You’ll see how the PID instruction works in RSLogix 500, how the process variable and control variable are scaled, and how a pressure control loop is implemented in ladder logic. The example covers a complete closed‑loop system using a pressure transmitter (process variable) and a flow valve (control variable). You’ll learn how the PID instruction calculates error, how SCP scaling is applied to analog inputs and outputs, and how the PLC maintains a 50 psi setpoint. If you already understand what PID is and want to learn PID controller tuning, see: https://bin95.com/vocational-training/plc-training/programming/pid-tuning-calculator-tips.htm #PLCTraining #PIDControl #RSLogix500 00:00 Introduction to PID Control Systems 00:20 How the PID Instruction Operates 00:55 Pressure Control Loop Overview 01:14 Scaling the Pressure Transmitter Signal 02:04 Using the SCP Instruction for Input Scaling 03:40 Configuring PID Instruction Parameters 04:02 Scaling the Control Variable Output 05:10 Analog Output and Flow Valve Operation 05:36 Achieving and Maintaining the Setpoint</video:description>

<video:title>PLC Training – Raw Onsite Setup (Army Session Preview)</video:title>
<video:description>This raw, no‑audio PLC training video shows potential customers the equipment and setup we brought to on‑site PLC training back in 2012. Each employee received hands‑on training with their own PLC, along with manuals and a USB flash drive containing additional learning materials. This particular setup was filmed during an onsite session conducted at a U.S. Army base. It provides a clear look at how we organized instructor‑led training environments and the type of hardware students worked with at that time. We keep the video for nostalgia and historical reference. Today, our equipment, PLC models, printed manuals, and curriculum have all been modernized and updated. <video:title>PLC Training ☞ Industrial Automation Evolution ☜ PAC Training</video:title>
<video:description>This short story illustrates how industrial automation has evolved from traditional PLC training into modern PAC training. About twenty years ago, the merging of the PC (Personal Computer) and the PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) led to the creation of the PAC — Programmable Automation Controller, a term introduced by ARC Advisory Group. PACs combine the strengths of both parents, expanding automation capabilities across manufacturing, utilities, and building automation. To learn more about PAC vs PLC and how this evolution affects your automation engineering projects, read the full article: https://bin95.com/articles/automation/pac-vs-plc.htm #PLCTraining #PACTraining #AutomationEngineering #BIN95 0:00 The Story of PC and PLC 0:22 Married by Automation Vendors 0:32 The Birth of PAC (Programmable Automation Controller) 0:45 PAC’s Future in the Industry 0:57 Combining the Best of Both Parents 1:11 Training and Resources at BIN95</video:description>

<video:title>Lean Total Productive Maintenance (TPM): Autonomous Maintenance Program</video:title>
<video:description>For a few pennies per employee or student, you can get the autonomous maintenance in-house training program “AM2” and watch your productivity and reliability climb. https://bin95.com/vocational-training/maintenance/reliability-training.htm The video describes the AM2 in-house training program and the 4 programs it contains. This reliability engineering training (updated May 2019), is a great educational tool for lean manufacturing operators and maintenance, as it helps learners to understand the equipment in process and manufacturing companies and also various factors that are required to be adopted in this process. The machine operator is the core aspect of lean manufacturing and plays major role in producing machinery products thus he or she should be well trained and familiar with all techniques to make production higher. Besides, the machine operators are also concerned for equipment maintenance. About Autonomous Maintenance: An important TPM step (by Kunio Shirose) common in lean manufacturing programs, is to perform autonomous maintenance. autonomous maintenance is obtained by education and training of equipment operators on their equipment and maintenance practices. While the first 7 steps of autonomous maintenance focus on general overview and planning, this Autonomous Maintenance Level 2 Training Program concentrates on more detailed equipment and maintenance training in plain words that even non-maintenance personnel can learn from. Leaders who should be interested in this training program are … Manufacturing Operations Manager Manufacturing Manager Manufacturing Superintendent Manufacturing Maintenance Manager Manager General Manufacturing Plant Manager Chief Engineers Plant Superintendent Plant Maintenance Manager Plant General Manager Mill Manager Plant Operations Manager Maintenance Manager Maintenance Superintendent Maintenance Supervisor Lean Manufacturing Manager Lean Manufacturing Engineer Lean 6 Sigma Manager Lean Sigma Black Belt Human Resources Managers Training and Development Managers…</video:description>
