This vibration analysis training and certification is in accordance with ISO-18436-2 in Categories I, II, and III. All of these condition monitoring vibration analysis courses are available as scheduled live online classes via video conferencing or on-site in English or Spanish. Also, CAT I and II online vibration analysis courses are available as self-paced online video courses.

Category I – Online Vibration Analysis Training

Category II – Intermediate Vibration Analyst Training
For technicians and analysts performing day‑to‑day vibration testing and fault detection across rotating machinery.

Category III – Advanced Vibration Analyst Training
For experienced analysts seeking advanced diagnostics or managing Condition Monitoring programs.
- Advanced analysis, troubleshooting, and phase analysis
- 2‑plane balancing and structural testing
- ODS, modal analysis, and motion amplification
- Signal processing, wireless sensors, system design
Duration: 4 days + optional 4‑hour exam

Prerequisites: Cat II certification (36 months experience for certification)
CAT 3 Vibration Course Details
Modern training materials with high-quality animations and simulators make learning fun and easy!
Vibration Analysis Certifications:
Vibration analysts typically earn 10% or more with each level of certification. Nearly all students—99%—add the certification exam option during checkout. You may take the courses and exams before you meet the work‑experience requirements. Once you have accumulated the required experience for your certification level, simply notify Alan and he will issue your certification, since you will have already passed the exam.
The exams are tightly controlled and professionally administered. Questions are randomized, and no one outside of Zenco has access to the exam materials. When you register, you’ll complete a short form describing your work history and provide contact information for a supervisor or HR representative who can verify your experience. This information is kept strictly confidential—Zenco never shares it with anyone. We have never had an employer refuse to accept or recognize this certification.

All of the vibration analysis courses are taught personally by Alan Friedman. Alan has trained and certified thousands of students across ISO 18436‑2 Categories I, II, III, and IV. He is an exceptional instructor—passionate about the subject, highly experienced, and known for explaining complex topics in ways anyone can understand. His courses feature advanced simulators, 3D animations, and high‑quality videos to make the material clear and engaging.
Alan holds ISO 18436‑2 Category IV certification and previously was a senior instructor at the Mobius Institute, where he helped develop course content and trained many of their instructors.
